Drop-ons and panel spacers

Drop ‘on’s attach to spreaders and are used to close off the ends of a TuffGuy. This accessory protects workers from end-cave-ins. A TuffGuy can be converted into a three sided shield using one drop ’on or a fully enclosed, four sided shield using two drop ‘on’s. Panel spacers can be inserted to stilt-up panels 24” from the bottom of the ditch (as seen). Panel spacers are recommended when working around existing utilities.

Patented pinless design & balanced rigging points

The TuffGuy shield uses a patented pinless design that takes the hassle out of assembly (and disassembly). Because this shield requires no pins, it can be assembled (and disassembled) in record time. Plus you never have to worry about losing pins. Once fully assembled, four perfectly balanced rigging points allow for safe, precise placement in the ditch. Remember, there is no other single shield like the TuffGuy shield.
